+ 3 - 2 | § ¶My sister is amazing

Well, the day started out with a call from my sister that the crane to lift the house was on it's way. The assembly crew for the manufactured home was on site getting ready. The crane arrived and everyone got to work. All the amazing planning my sister did to coordinate everything paid off and the house was lifted up onto the foundation without a hitch. Pictures of the ordeal in the snow can be found here. Becky has done such a great job of being the general contrator on this job, I cannot begin to say thanks enough. Maybe I will give her a bonus when we get the occupancy papers from the county :-)
Once the two halves get stitched together, and the house gets tied down to the foundation, then the electrician can come in and finish the wiring. Once the house has power, the finish crew can patch up any flaws inside, and we can hook up the water. I do not think we will meet the 2005 deadline, but we will be done in very early 2006. All we ask for is for the weather to hold out a few more weeks.
