+ 1 - 3 | § Holy stinker Batman!

Saturday, April 29th. 1:15 am (morning for most folks)
I damn near sh*t my pants. I was just outside grabbing some fresh air in the front of my apartment. While I was watching all the speeders go by, I noticed movement out of the corner of my eye. I look down, expecting to see my cat walk in front of me when I notice that it is a skunk. Not only is it a skunk, but it did not pass front of me, it jumped over my feet! The scariest part was that it's tail was friggin' straight up in the air!

Of course, Kali the cat was still across from me on the landing on the other side of the stairs. She just looked down and watched the skunk go by. Probably thought it was a person by her lack of reaction. My cat just watched the skunk go by and then looked at me with this "what, you wanted me to do something?" look. It was classic.

Teach me to never stand outside in front again late at night.
